Thanks to the Urban Farm and Valarti Farms for this chart of low temperatures different veggies can survive
Bob, Debra, Debbie, and Linda cover a keyhole garden with frost cloth as predictions are 32 degrees for Dec. 15 and 16

Anchoring the frost cloth with rocks to protect from wind blowing it away, and mice, rats, bunnies from eating the veggies.
African Blue Basil tucked in under the frost cloth. The domed metal structure holds shade cloth in summer and frost cloth in winter.
We covered the garden beds with frost cloth. Grape vines to the left are producing some good grapes this month.

    I started coming to the Sunday gardening group in the fall of 2013. I've learned a lot and have forged new friendships with other earth lovers.  Master Gardeners Linda and Bob have so much knowledge they freely give the rest of us!
